All hail the queen of fall trends: modern Victorian dressing is the regal new look.

Don’t worry: this isn’t one of those head to toe trends.  But, significant elements inspired by this modern take on Victorian style are popping up everywhere.  The key to this trend?  Look for the high neck - no cleavage in this virtuous trend! 

Look for these elements (hiding in your closet, perhaps, or certainly ready to pick up in many stores right now):

• High neck blouses - with lace or without
• High neck dresses
• Ruffled high neck blouses
• Choker necklaces
• Long ankle-length skirts

Again, you don’t have to go all the way with this trend.  A high neck lace blouse looks amazing with skinny black jeans.  You can even pair this blouse with high waist flare trouser, to accentuate a tiny waist (no corset required)!
