Seriously, even if you’re not, you won’t want to miss some of the amazing Irish Tartans and Scottish plaids being shown by designers this season.
Don’t think about the golf tour or bagpipes when you consider how to wear this new trend this fall. Instead, think more about the recent color palettes you’ve seen:
- Electric blue
- Warm peach
- Acid green
- Grey
These are the amazing color combinations that are making tartan fabrics a must-wear for Fall.
Look for this pattern in unexpected places too – on a rubber boot, or enhancing this season’s go-to outerwear – the cape!

- Glam girls: Skinny black jeans, crisp white shirt and all-over purple and navy plaid blazer
- Preppy girls: Wide leg denim trousers with a red, ivory and navy plaid menswear shirt
