Trend Update: Fall 2011 - Wedge Shoes

As a stylist, I pull wedge shoes for fashion shows all the time. It’s one of the best shoes, and it really represents all that’s going on in fashion this fall.
Now, comfort is key with the wedge; this shoe is going to keep you going all day, while still adding a little height to any outfit. And, you definitely don’t have to sacrifice style THIS season. This versatile shoe silhouette is showing up in all kinds of forms. Some examples:

- Loafers
- Sandals
- Knee-high boots
This shoe is my answer this season to casual, carefree footwear with a modern twist. It’s light and fun, and comes any way you want it.
And, let’s face it: Most of us have a pair of wedges in our closet because this is the most versatile shoe on the planet!
Whether you’re sliding them on, tying them up, or even wrapping them around, the versatility – and comfort – of a wedge shoe can’t be beat this fall.
