Fashion-Ade Privacy Policy

Abundant Closet, LLC (the “Company” or “we” or “us”), the owner and operator of Fashion-Ade.com, ("Fashion-Ade" or the “Site”) is strongly committed to protecting your privacy. This policy (the “Privacy Policy”) discloses how we collect, use and share information we gather about you on Fashion-Ade and the choices you have regarding our use of and your ability to correct the information. You, of course, have the right to choose the sites you visit, as well as the way you share your personal information. Please read the following Privacy Policy in conjunction with the Site’s Terms of Use (located at http://www.fashion-ade.com/Content/TermsOfUse/default.aspx ), which defines certain terms used here and governs your use of the Site and Services. In an instance where interpretation of any issue not covered in the Privacy Policy is required, or where there is a conflict between the Privacy Policy and the Terms of Use, the Terms of Use shall control. If you do not agree with the Privacy Policy, please do not use the Site or Services.
The Information We Collect
In order to create your Closet, you will need to register to become a member of our site. To register, you must provide a valid email address, a user name, a password, your zip code, and your size category. Registration is not necessary to view Public Closets or Style Alerts.
Your user name, along with any garments you add to your Closet from our master closet, garments you upload, or comments you add to garments or outfits, are visible to the general public, unless you specifically mark your closet as private.
Your email address, username and password will be used in accordance with this Privacy Policy and customary industry practices. If you entered Fashion-Ade as a result of a link from one of our retailer partners, we may share email information and username with that retailer and/or other retailers in our approved retailer network to validate that you are you.
We also collect information in order to customize the advertising and content you see, fulfill your requests for products and services, publish reviews you may submit, improve the Services, contact you, and conduct research and reporting (e.g., survey results).
We also collect Site usage data (such as page views and referring sites), demographic information (such as zip code), and other information, none of which is tied to your personal identity. We may share this anonymous data with third parties, and will do so only in an aggregated manner that does not identify you.
Your Email Address
We use your email address to perform the following tasks:
- To answer email that we receive from you;
- To remind you of your password if you request it; and
- To send you up to two confirmation emails when you register.
- If you have entered our site via a referral link from one of our retailer partners, to validate that you are you.
You may not opt-out of receiving these transactional emails or this validation process.
We also use your email address to perform the following:
- To send you alerts and updates about our site; and
- To send you regular Style Alerts
These messages are all optional, and you can unsubscribe from them at any time via the unsubscribe link in the email sent, or via an email sent to info@abundantcloset.com.
If you use the “email a friend” feature to get feedback on an outfit, we will use that email address only once to solicit feedback from the friend on the outfit.
Sharing Information
Except as described in this Privacy Policy, we will not share personally identifying information about you with other people or non-affiliated companies, except to provide products or services you have requested, unless we are required by law, when we believe that it is necessary to protect the rights, property or safety of Fashion-Ade, our affiliates, our employees, our users or others and/or to comply with a judicial proceeding, court order, or legal process served on the Company.
In some cases, we may choose to buy or sell assets. In these types of transactions, user information is typically one of the business assets that is transferred. Moreover, if
Fashion-Ade, or substantially all of its assets, were acquired, user information would be one of the assets to be transferred.
In addition, we may share non-identifying or aggregate information that we collect using log files with advertisers, retailers and/or the media. Log files are not tied to personally identifiable information. For example, we may tell a retailer that X number of individuals own a certain garment type, but we will not disclose anything that could be used to identify the particular individuals who own that garment type.
Please note too that we occasionally employ other companies and people to perform tasks on our behalf and need to share your information with them to provide products or services to you.
Your Access to Your Information
You can access and correct all of your personally identifiable information and maintain it by clicking the “Profile” link in our header, then logging in. You can also contact us to request a change of your data by emailing info@fashion-ade.com.
Cookies
In order to offer and provide optimized and personalized services, we may use cookies. A cookie is a small text file that is stored on a user’s computer for record-keeping purposes. You can remove cookies by following directions provided in your Internet browser’s “help” file. If you reject all cookies, you may still browse our site, but your ability to utilize your Closet may be severely limited. We also track IP addresses and we use this information for diagnosing problems with our website and analyzing patterns that help us provide you with a better experience on our Site.
Some of our business partners (e.g., Google Analytics) use cookies on our site at our request or on our behalf. We have no access to or control over these cookies.

Please note that this site contains links to other sites not controlled by us. We are not responsible for the information collection, privacy practices, or content of third-party websites or applications. We ask that you please review the privacy policies of these other sites, as we cannot be responsible for the privacy or other practices of such sites.
Security
To try to prevent unauthorized access, maintain data security, and ensure the correct use of information, we have put in place certain physical, electronic, and managerial procedures to safeguard and secure the information we collect online.
We follow generally accepted industry standards to protect the personal information submitted to us, both during transmission and once we receive it. No method of transmission over the Internet, or method of electronic storage, is 100% secure, however. Therefore, while we strive to use commercially acceptable means to protect your personal information, we cannot guarantee its absolute security. Unauthorized entry or use, hardware or software failure, and other factors may compromise data security. Therefore, you assume this risk when communicating through the Site or with the Company, and agree that the Company will not be liable or responsible if a transmission of information that belongs to you is intercepted and used by an unintended recipient.

COPPA Compliance
Protecting the privacy of the very young is especially important to us. For that reason, we never collect or maintain information from those we actually know are under 13 years old, and no part of our website is structured to attract such persons. Our Terms of Use prohibit the use of the Site by anyone not at least 13 years of age.

We reserve the right to modify this Privacy Policy at any time. Please review the Privacy Policy whenever you use Fashion-Ade to make sure you understand how your information will be collected, used, and distributed.
Effect of Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy is not intended to, and does not, create any contractual or legal rights in or on behalf of any party. The use of data as described in the Privacy Policy is not an actionable breach of your privacy or publicity rights.
